    Hi Jim,

    You may have this covered already in another section and if so you can direct me to that area.

    This weekend we were in Chicago and I used your “its obvious” line with good results. I got contact information and gave them mine as well, with a follow up time.

    I have made voice contact with one and another sent me a text message back. Liked the product, I have tried to set up a time to visit on the phone for few minutes. With no response. Called and left messages.

    How do you proceed with follow ups? You don’t want to be a pain but want to follow up. And is there wording to make help out with making the contact. I won’t leave anymore messages.

    At this point I’d leave a final message in a few days, the best thing is to say this, “John, when we talked in Chicago you said you were interested in _____________, however, I’ve not heard back. Has anything changed in your level of interest? If not, give me a ring, if so, I’m here when you’re finally ready to __________. “Also, when you are collecting information are you telling them you will call them and to expect your call? I’d say, “Janet, because you said you’re interested in (losing weight) I’m going to get a call between us on my calendar next week when I get home. If you’re really not interested, that’s OK, let me know and I won’t call, but if you are, will you agree to quick 10 minutes on the phone next week? On that call I’ll share with you how you can ________ (pique their curiosity). Great, I’ll call you on ___________, my number is 555-5555, look for my call. If anything changes in your level of interest, would you let me know so that I don’t bother you with my call?”

    This is perfect. I did set up a time or asked one of them for a time, but it was specific. I’m still pretty new to this. One of my contacts, I did just what you put on here earlier today and he wrote back…..LOL. Said alot going on, maybe some other time. I’m going to print this script out. Thanks! This will help alot.

    Janet, I need to shoot a video on your last comment…”A lot going on.” There is a way to bust that objection! It’s a smoke screen.

    I’ve gotten that “a lot going on” several times from business owners who are on my list. They tell me they need to do more research on their own, but then when I follow up, there’s always so much going on, haven’t had a chance to look at it yet, etc. and I can’t seem to get another appt. I’ll try what you suggested above and see if that can generate a change. Thanks! :)
