    Hi Jim!
I am having some very good luck using Facebook for customers… I have even recruited people from FB, but they were people that I previously knew… but today, after I placed the following ad, I received another “like”, from an individual, who has “liked” my Visalus ads on FB, recently, and a request, from another individual, for more info. Other than they are my FB friends, I don’t know either individual personally. What would be the best way to respond?

Indluded with the ad, there was also a picture of one of my team members, in front of a BMW, who qualified for her car recently…here is the ad…

Is it time to shoot your car and put it out of it’s misery?
Does it hurt to pay your bills each month?
    Do you hate your job?
Then check out this photo of Mary who is on my team. She just earned her BMW bonus last month… that makes 5 people on the team who have earned their BMW bonus!!!
You can earn a new car… pay off bills and have extra cash… and FIRE your boss!!! PM me to see if this is the right fit for you and how I can help you get there!!!

    Thanks,
    Donna

Donna, great question. Thing is, you don’t know WHY she clicked like. It could be for a dozen reasons. You in your ad you gave her four reasons to click: car, bills, job, cash and even boss. What I would do is make sure you look at her page and then every day or so I’d click like (if possible) on something she posts. It’s a bit of reciprocity, and now you’re “interacting.” In a few weeks I’d post something again and when she liked it again I’d ask her, “Hey Susan, I see you’ve liked a few of my ViSalus posts. Just curious, what about them did you like?” There is your lead in….

Hi Jim… thank you for your suggestions…I will try them, because I do have a few individuals that have been following my ads and have been clicking “like” on some of them and I have wondered how to approach them without appearing pushy. Thanks!

Hey Donna, have you given it a try, yet? If so, what did she say?

Hey Jim, this is a great suggestion. I am definitely going to try this on my Facebook page. I’ll let you know what happens. I’ve been noticing a big difference in responses I get on my facebook page since I incorporated some of the things you’ve talked about elsewhere (like STOP marketing, and the percentage of general helpful, personal, Visalus subtle and visalus gung ho, etc. )  Thanks! :)
